Hi all, I only have tinnitus when I have anxiety or when I don't sleep well otherwise its gone completely so therefore I think it is the way my brain responds to stress. Can anyone else lend knowledge to this?

Hi, there is a tinnitus forum on here called Tinnitus UK you might get a more varied response on there. I do know that stress and anxiety can increase the volume of a persons existing tinnitus but doesn’t alter mine. I’m not sure though about only perceiving tinnitus when you’re stressed but definitely seems quite possible.

Depending on what device you are using at the top or bottom of this page it will say “my hub” click on that icon and click on “”find a community” click on that and type in Tinnitus UK. That should bring it up and just click on join and away you go.

Oops didn’t see Snow-Moon’s response that’s the easiest way, just click on the link she’s given you.
