Exhausted from Anxiety

I have a very hard time making decisions. I resesearch my options. I make a choice. I second guess myself. I feel bad. I don't let it go so easily. All of this exhausts me.

I work on breaking this cycle. Not going well. Everything, even small things, seem like a life or death situation.

Some of it is just fear of getting it wrong. I really need some respite from this. Thoughts?

Boy do I understand what you’re going through. Having to make a decision sends me into panic mode! Something as simple as picking out a new shirt. I guess the only advice I can offer is think about past decisions you made and what the outcomes were. We all make mistakes we’re human. But we learn from them.

Thank you for getting it. I need to redirect my self talk. And it is true to focus on the fact that this is anxiety. It's not all of me.

Hi car103. I understand, it makes day to day life a constant struggle. Have you tried meditation and/or mindfulness? It’s a practice, but it can help if you stick with it (well, it’s helping me anyhow, I know we’re all different). Sending love
