"I remember when I couldn’t drive, I remember when I couldn’t work, I remember when I couldn’t sleep by myself because I was afraid, I remember when I couldn’t get out of the bed, I remember having panic attacks from the time I woke up to the time I went to sleep," Kellene says. "Anxiety and depression took over and consumed every aspect of life, I didn’t shower for weeks because I was so pre-occupied with fear and panic!"
A great story and I can relate to not showering or even not leaving the house for weeks. I am very happy that she has the energy to fight, but I don't. I have found that acceptance helps me feel energized and that I don't have to fight so hard every day. I still work and go to therapy and take meds and exercise and try to eat right and have fun, but if I get in the fighting mentality I spiral into depression if I fail to do one. I love her story and look at all the good she is doing, I just wanted to illustrate that there are different paths to peace. ❤️
