A investment scam, AI trading, was suspicious. didnt loose a lot but some people lost hundreds of thousands !

I have had phone calls trying to scam me and when I realised I was being taken for an idiot I put the phone down on them!

That’s really bad luck, hope you get it sorted. I’ve been scammed on at least 2 occasions and now I am ultra wary of ads on FB etc. I know now to avoid them but it’s hard sometimes..

Yes there was somebody on here who was dodgy, fortunately Kenster warned me via a PM as this particular scumbag - for want of a better word - was targeting ladies, telling them his wife had died of cancer etc etc and looking for sympathy votes. Another time I think he said his son was dying of cancer - is there any length these people will not go to??

I have delivery or post scam email everyday coming to me, ignore or delete them.

Sorry this happened to you gerrerd - please phone bank and see if they will help you - in most cases they will help - banks get it and have put compensation money aside for such things

Yes he was on the advert, they flooded fb with fake stars and Elon musk. but it was scam AI trading platform I was trading for two months, They were getting people to take loans out with the promise of large gains! I only put a few hundred in, I checked everything out before I put money in, Trust pilot was giving them 4 and half stars all good review. professional set up! beware dont trust any advert on FB,

The plot thickens, they have started a new company and contacted me yesterday, my money is there, but getting it back is another thing. The trading platform is now running again, Told them they are scammers, Proved to them that the adverts were fake, they admitted that, They just take money make sure you loose it trading then ask for more.

I fell for something a few months ago. It was small change but had to cancel my credit card and fill out fraud paperwork. It opened my eyes

Sorry you have been scammed. They are getting so sophisticated now that it's quite frightening.

I'm lucky in that I'm a suspicious old bird and I get quite a lot, but I don't reply. Straight to the Report and Block! The latest one was the one where they try to extort you by saying they've hacked my email and seen the Porn I've been watching! No such luck mates! Too old to worry about all that malarkey!
