Try keeping a journal. Maybe it can help narrow down the triggers?
I agree with LadyZen. I think this is an opportunity to learn something about yourself. Perhaps what you believe deep inside yourself or somewhere you may not be living in alignment with some of your core beliefs. I wish you luck and patience, understanding, peace, hope and strength.☮️
Hello and Welcome. I read your bio. I am so, so sorry for the tragic loss of your son. I am glad you are here with others who understand anxiety. Hopefully it will help you to feel better.
Anything make you calm or feel better like bath or breathing - keep trying coping strategies and ask doctors for help in this
I assume that the fight or flight anxiety is a result of concerns over the years. I know that walking has been clinically shown to be effective with depression. I wonder if regular walking would control some of your symptoms. Yes, keeping a journal could also be very helpful. Thanks, LadyZen.
Unfortunately, that's the thing about anxiety. Often there is nothing logical that causes an attack. If you have GAD, like I do, it's in the definition. "Generalized anxiety disorder (or GAD) is an exaggerated anxiety about everyday life events for no reason." Sigh. You may want to reach out to your doctor for a small prescription of benzos for when an attack is really bad or interferes with your daily life. I take half a lorazepam when I have a bad attack.
