I've just had an ad for neurofeedback pop up in Facebook feed. And there is a clinic in the city where I live. I am wondering if anyone has any direct experience with this... or maybe a friend who tried it.

Hi roses4all....actually, I personally had many sessions with it many years ago.

It was at the start of my anxiety issues. At that time it was called "Biofeedback".

Electrodes were placed on my head while I sat in front of a monitor screen which

displayed my emotions. The idea was to be able to control the spikes on the screen

by controlling your mind set. It is an amazing concept in training your brain to

respond positive to inner emotions. Good Luck should you try Neurofeedback.

Let us know how it goes for you :) xx

Thanks. But you are still here. So, how much did it help? How long did you do it for. The website says 30 to 60 visits.

The website of the clinic says 80 % effective and they cite trials. Psychology Today says no greater than the placebo effect and they cite studies.
