Has anyone had a bad experience with Zoloft? Side Effects?

This is the 4th antidepressant I will be trying as I have agoraphobia as well. I'm wondering what, if any, side effects people have had.

Weight gain? Nausea? etc.

Any info is appreciated as I'm super skeptical about starting something new during the holiday season!

Oh no , I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. Other, milder anti-depressants would be worth a try I think? Yeah, I'm very weary of trying this one, everything I've read so far is pretty bad.

I don't even know how to explain the reaction I had but it was awful. The nurse recorded it has heart arrhythmia, but it was more than that. I would consider it more like heart pounding and severe paranoia of death. I really thought I was going to die. I stopped it immediately and went back on the Wellbutrin.

Omg :( Yeah I already get panic/anxiety to the point I think I'm going to die so I'm not sure this will work for me! I'm going to wait until after the holidays to start it after hearing and reading people's experiences...almost all of which seem pretty bad :(

Some people have reported it working really well for them, so that's why I tried it, so I wouldn't rule it out for yourself. But its probably a good idea to start it when you know you get a hold of your doctor if you need to.
