Zolodronic acid and teeth

I was on zolodronic acid for osteoporosis. I had infusion for 2 years..and stopped it because of side effects. I have been off of it for about 3 years now I have a loose tooth and will need to have an extraction. Any one know if it's dangerous because of ostecroses of the jaw and will it still be in my system

There is an osteoporosis site on HU. I'm wondering if that's a better place to pose this question.

I'm thinking the dentist would have some information to relay to you. The would certainly see evidence of jaw issues in your exam.

Have you asked your Dr about this?
