I recently found out about this support group from a webinar I watched on agoraphobia from Dr. Karen Cassiday. I have not been formally diagnosed with agoraphobia, but my current counselor believes this could be the case. I am a 2nd year Doctor of Physical Therapy student and my anxiety is most severe when I am sitting in class. I have been dealing with this for about 7 years now. I hope that I will make progress, as I gained some hot tips from Dr. Cassiday's webinar. Have a great night everyone and stay strong!

Thank you so much for your support and your testimony. I am so happy to have found a place where I can share my story and not be embarrassed or feel judged.
Hello and Welcome. I am glad you found your way to us here. I have not been formally diagnosed with agoraphobia either, but I have a very hard time leaving the house. I have been on this site since July. I have found so much support here. It is amazing to talk to others who have the same struggle. I looked up the webinar you mentioned and will watch that later when I get a chance. Thank you so much for sharing it. I am glad to hear that the agoraphobia has not kept you from going to your classes. I hope you will get help for it before it becomes worse and keeps you from going out entirely. That is what it can lead to. I would be very happy to talk to you about it more. Please let me know if you want to talk.
