Good evening all,

I recently found out about this support group from a webinar I watched on agoraphobia from Dr. Karen Cassiday. I have not been formally diagnosed with agoraphobia, but my current counselor believes this could be the case. I am a 2nd year Doctor of Physical Therapy student and my anxiety is most severe when I am sitting in class. I have been dealing with this for about 7 years now. I hope that I will make progress, as I gained some hot tips from Dr. Cassiday's webinar. Have a great night everyone and stay strong!

Here, you will received the support you need as well as not feeling so alone in

your diagnosis.

Thanks for letting us know about Dr. Cassiday's Webinar. This is how we help

each other through our own experiences. It's going to be okay and will all work

out for you in the end. Wishing you well with your schooling. Stay Positive and

Believe in yourself. :) xx

Thank you so much for your support and your testimony. I am so happy to have found a place where I can share my story and not be embarrassed or feel judged.

Hello and Welcome. I am glad you found your way to us here. I have not been formally diagnosed with agoraphobia either, but I have a very hard time leaving the house. I have been on this site since July. I have found so much support here. It is amazing to talk to others who have the same struggle. I looked up the webinar you mentioned and will watch that later when I get a chance. Thank you so much for sharing it. I am glad to hear that the agoraphobia has not kept you from going to your classes. I hope you will get help for it before it becomes worse and keeps you from going out entirely. That is what it can lead to. I would be very happy to talk to you about it more. Please let me know if you want to talk.

Good evening, gajh. I would love to talk about this more. I definitely do not want this to get any worse than it already is.
