Lancaster University questionnaire?

Has anyone tried to fill out the online form that was asking questions from Lancaster University, and then was directed to a set of questions, it was regarding HU, but then went into a a set of questions but I didn't even get past the first set of questions 🤔, and obviously they keep your data, without even answering a full set of questions, are HU aware of this set up, are they harvesting data on behalf of them or what are their motives, perhaps someone can explain this situation.

It came up on the HU page, I think it was like how we all interact with each other basically, and I didn't even get chance to finish the questionnaire off, that's why I was asking if anyone else had come across it, yes, just waiting on my new headaches tablets, otherwise nothing new, hope you're keeping well 😀

Looking a bit dodgy to me? 🤔Offering £10 shopping voucher if you finish it, probably lose it in the post, certainly going to Northern Ireland, will get lost in Stormont somewhere?🤫

You are right kenster1 it is legit, but it is the sort of one where I could go off on a irrelevant tangent, lose my patience with it?🤐

Remembered! In 2016 a firm called NICOLA obviously from local health system, ran these medical surveys, they WOULD not leave me alone, even coming to my house for a "survey" then asked for another one in a local hospital, top story, I proceeded to have a mental breakdown, I was worried because I knew my type of epilepsy JME is set off by extreme stress, pressure and anxiety, very lucky I did not have one then 10th November 2016, still I finished this "survey", intact today, although any info I gave is not really up to much? I'm going for a long sleep🥱😴

I'll just jump in, here I think the voucher is entitled to be used in ASDA as I completed the survey it was me who started the conversation, it's the first time I've done one of those surveys but I didn't even know there was a money voucher available until I started to fill the questionnaire out, but the funny thing is I don't have an ASDA near me anyway 🤣

Ironic same here no ASDA's near me🙄I could not sleep anyway! I should make it clear persons like me with my type of epilepsy THEY ARE BAD FOR MY HEALTH, NOT TOO BE RECOMMENDED! I had panic attacks from 2016 another off shoot!

Made me smile! You can always send it to me as there’s one close to where I live. I would buy £10 worth of groceries for the food bank in the New Year.

It's probably simpler to send out identical vouchers than it would be to send checks or request people's bank details. There are lots of paid surveys online. This one would seem to be a good one if you can finish the survey.

Get them to send out the £10 to your favourite charity🤔🤗

Did you send a message to the support team?

I know there have been surveys in the past for various things. I've only got so far in the survey and was told I don't fit into the category of what they were looking for.

Was it that type of thing?

I sussed it out, it wasn't to bad, it was general questions, it was just trying to work the questions out 🤦

There was a post on the PTSD site a couple weeks ago about some additional group merging. It did state there would be more research opportunities.

Not sure if this is connected or not

Yes I managed to fill the questionnaire out,I just didn't look at the questions properly 😅, as for the radiator it's one of those you have to tap it onto the existing peg or whatever you want to call the bit inside the radiator the bleed off valve and make sure it's nice and tight and then start undoing it ( hopefully), perhaps spray it first with some WD40 these things are often painted up inside and that causes problems, it could just snap off, and then maybe that's a bigger problem, it's just trying to get a " feel" for it, and obviously the air in the radiator will start hissing out, and your boiler will need topping back up with water as it may stop working as it needs a certain amount of water it's really a two person job, as you need to fill up the boiler as the pressure drops you then need to fill the boiler back up .

It should work loose I think, just don't unscrew it all the way otherwise they can be awkward to get back in and you don't want water coming out just in case, it all depends on how much pressure is in your system 😉

I’ve done it and I quite enjoyed it actually.,As it’s UK based I was keen to support it. Any research into mental health must be positive. Im more than happy to share my experiences.

I’ve only recently joined this group, naively I’d didn’t know it existed. I have been on the HU Rheumatoid Arthritis group for many years, but thankfully my RA, diagnosed in 2015, has been under control since Covid so I haven’t been very active.

I’ve just come out of a really bad period but finding this group and reading a lot on it, I can relate to so much. I’ve suffered with depression since 1982 and diagnosed with Bipolar about 5-6 years ago.

I had the same experience!?

Hi I like to know whose funding the research. The Uni will be conducting the research project.
