Goodness, it's only now that I realized my mere lurking (and not writing anything) would be noticed. Haha. I received an email from HealthUnlocked that noted I hadn't logged in since Oct. 1, 2023 and was asking if I'm alright. Well, I'm still in one piece. chuckles very shyly
I go by Skitty in most online spaces. My medical training started in 2017, and I've had delays along the way because of health reasons. I was in a slump during the final months of 2022, and wanted to stop training, but eventually found my "why" once more and decided to transfer to a medical school closer to my home province.
If I remember right, I found this site while I was idly scrolling and lurking on reddit (Yes, I'm that much of a lurker haha) and got really curious. I only ever intended to lurk. I still may, for medical training is quite demanding. But I'll do my best to contribute from time to time.
Looking forward to experiences here

Great job overcoming that slump you faced, that part of your post stuck out to me and I am just glad to hear that. Clearly you are a determined person, that is admirable.
Please do stick around and contribute, we need more people such as yourself. There are many here that would benefit from interacting with you. And I hope that you will also get some benefit from that as well.
