I am recently divorced and suffering from severe depression and anxiety. I find little joy in the things I used to like doing, I also find that coming home to an empty house without a partner is very lonely and I’m finding I have all of this free extra time where I am so bored and don’t know what to do with myself. What are some hobbies or things people have found to be entertaining or enjoyable to pass by this extra time I have.

I've read your replies to others where you have listed some things you already do to keep busy. You mentioned volunteering and joining groups. Are you still participating in these activities?
I wrote a novel during my separation and divorce. I also swam laps. Both were helpful for me since I had kids. You might need more social activities like dance lessons or something like that.
For me, my pets make it easy to come home as the house is never empty! I'm sorry you're having a hard time and I like the great suggestions others have offered.
