I do know a lot of people but what i treasure the most is my two little dogs, they have been through all my heartache and anguish during the past 8 years, and now they are getting older I fear losing either of them, and little Diva especially is not too good at all.
Its not unusual that ones pets are the most important living things in ones life, for they are the dependables in this thing called life. A world full of jealousy and hate is something which is becoming more prominent as time goes by, but our pets are the only innocents which are left in the world we inhabit.
Over the years i have lost 5 little dogs and i still miss and mourn them all, but non more so than Billy and Eddie, they were unique.

Hello R yes your so right they are part of our family's and some don't have any family with them like you I rarely see mine just my mam every day, I live in fear of her and my pixiebob dying as you know, he's v much like a dog walks with me as you can see from my avatar that's us in park, I know life's been so rough for you loosing your husband and dogs and more grief's to come but I know you find a bit of comfort knowing they are all still living on 🌈sending luv and hugs to you and of course you we have our vertual friends on here we can't see them either but know there here 🤗💚🌟🌷😹xxx
At my birthday party the other week I had said about how many years ago we hadn't been allowed to have had fish and chips on a school trip after my father had said it was too late and a girl had cried saying how she liked the teacher who would have got us the chips if she had been in charge but not my father who was in charge!
My sister in law said how because the teacher who would have gone and got the chips was a mother herself it was because mothers like to keep the family happy and I had said you know all about being a mother don't you the way you keep Baby happy making sure she has her treats!
Another girl who was at my party is also a mother to a very spoilt beagle and makes sure as a mother her beagle is always happy with her spoils and said how my father was mean when he had said no one was getting fish and chips that night as it was too late!
Baby is 20 in April and that is down to her getting spoilt!
Hello Isi I always had 2 cats so it softened the blow I'm sure when my others died I can't get another tho with pix he's too possessive, coming into a house empty especially when grieving is easier with a pet to tend too and the love we give and receive off them 😊😹
I’ve had 4 cats and three dogs and loved each one. I can’t have either one anymore, but I would if I could. I even had a robot cat that purred and mewed and eyes lit up when I pet it. It walked, moved its tail and sat down. I loaned it to a friend when her cat died to comfort her. But dogs are a different kind of buddy and they would lay down their life for their owners and I definitely understand the attachment that secrets22 has with his buddies as I had with mine.
Oh bless you I nearly got one of them fake cats for mam after my step dad died, I'd like a dog when mam n pix go hope I'm fit enough, can you not get something else like a little hamster I don't like birds in cages so I won't say that but my friend had one it was the cage most the time I think there better with a friend tho I think pixie wouldv been better with a friend from the start he's so needy I like that but it's not fair on him when I'm out 💚🌟😹🌷
hey Mandy.......actually when the time comes and you are considering a dog, if you look for a small dog like a Chihuahua or Papillon ,they dont need much exercise, they prefer to be snuggled up close to you.x
Thank Roddy but I have heart set on a small cocker spaniel like the one strangely enough was the couple's daughter's when we viewed house called honey too she was very needy of me she knew I loved dogs like her and they have a sense I feel she knew I was stressed back then I'll try find the pic of her
Morning Roddy I've had heart set on a spaniel for years had name down with lady in park but it never got pregnant good job as I got rats didn't I and pixie wouldn't have been pleased it's been mam's sugestion for when she dies I'll see how my health is I had bad experiences with small dogs they don't like me seem to yapyap and growl maby smell pixie on me my ex nebours dog Tilly is spaniel she would fling her arms round me cuddle ages and I used to look after one when young when they were away penny, I have my friend coming today for lunch the one known since 4 have you any socialising plans 🤗💚🌟🌷😹yes name change lol as I'm known as twinkly people like to call me that and it's Xmas on way look forward to it coming so it be over then spring and another disappointing summer, rain or too flipping hot lol, we are getting flood stuff sorted can't risk it here xx
hello Isinatra.......you are correct, dogs are more human than many humans, and they would defend you if needed , their devotion is second to non, its very much an invisible thread that binds you to them and vice versa .
Wee dogs are the best. I lost mine this past January and I was heartbroken. I didn't want anymore but got one that was the same breed. He has liven things up again for me. I'm glad I got him.
I have a mini schauzer. I lost my other mini in January. Looked for a dog. Got one, a golden doodle and ended up giving that to a relative and got another mini schnauzer, in which he'll be a year thus Sunday. ❤️
