Always been a nervous person which has triggered anxiety and physical symptoms. Been through most of the symptoms and have been able to understand them also get through them but been experiencing new symptoms. This, to me says I still need to address the root cause of all this. I want be mentally stronger and build confidence in my nervous system. Hoping to connect with others that have similar issues/goals.

Hi and welcome to this community. Think your amongst people with same goals and problems. Your not alone and everyone here can identify with your post. Have you sought help in any way, to try find root cause or to alleviate your symptoms. Either way it's not easy and can be long road. However your among friends here. 👍

I started speaking with a therapist in July, unfortunately she didn't help much. So just started with someone else. But still feel like I need more to get where I want to be. More then just a therapist. Trying to figure that out currently, what is best for me.

Welcome. You have come to the right place to connect with others that have similar issues/goals. It is very inspiring to hear of other people's success. It helps me just to know that I am not alone. It is so great to share with people who understand.

I can identify with you. My anxiety hit the roof after menopause and it has been a long road to recovery. Therapy helped a lot. For a time, I used anti anxiety medication and antidepressants. Medication does not agree with me, so I stopped taking that kind of medication. I have come a long way, but anxiety still rears it's ugly head from time to time. Like others have said, it helps to know you are not alone. Reading posts on this website has helped me a lot. You are doing the right thing trying to find the right therapist. Once you find one, you can start building a tool box to help you deal with your anxiety. Best wishes!

Thanks! Yes definitely helpful to know I am not alone and that there are ways/solutions to get stronger. Menopause is really starting to scare me. Not the 1st time I hear anxiety/symptoms going haywire during this time. I hope it ends once menopause is done. Geez. Sometimes I wonder if my new symptoms are perimenopause related. Well wishes to you as well. Hope we all find our way to peace and happiness.
