Nobody Cares as an affirmation

Some of us have anxiety. That is why we are here. Do you think maybe something we can tell ourselves is that nobody cares. Like when we say something stupid or make a small mistake on the road. Our biochemistry can make us beat down on ourselves. I tell myself maybe I’m not a good person. I’m a creep as Radiohead would say. But maybe that is the human experience. That even that beautiful girl or that successful man make the same mistakes.

Our perception about others is a complete fabrication of reality. We think we can identify that "beautiful girl" and "successful man"... but what we don't see is far MORE important than the stories we make up in our heads about them.

In my experience, the more we think that person looks like they're in complete control of their Life on Facebook or Instagram or the guy that has multiple degrees and titles behind his name are usually the ones that are suffering the most.

Our society places importance on materialistic THINGS, not intangible gifts like compassion and empathy and understanding. We are told from birth that getting an education and career, marrying your "soulmate", buying a house and having children is the end all be all to a perfect Life of happiness and fulfillment.

I've found that all of those things don't make ME happy at all.

It's all relative. Discovering what is your calling, your purpose, your passion, your meaning in Life is what's important. Not buying into what our superficial materialistic immediate gratification society tells us to want.

We are all human and make the same mistakes every day. There is not a perfect person anywhere on the planet. We just think everyone else has it better or easier than we do.

Yes!!!.... you nailed it. The fear that has us overthinking everything.... somebody once told me something that really set me back fora minute..but yeah...it makes perfect sense. I was worried about how I looked, and this friend of mine said...Don't worry about how you think someone else thinks you look, your just not that important. I said ....what?.... they said, most people are walking around in their own world of thoughts, and at most you might get a passing glance, but other than that....we are just not that important for everyone we see to be taking our inventory on how we look, and even if they were that petty...so what, who cares what they think. So stop worrying about it, if your happy with how you look, then that's all that matters, and if your not, change it.
