I wanted to ask if any of you have experienced your body being hot with no fever? Is this a part of anxiety?
For a week now i have been feeling hot with no temperature. I get tired and start sweating faster than usual.
My tension headache is so much better now, but when I do a little bit of work out or get in the hot shower my tension comes back for a few minutes then goes.
For example my wife woke me up saying it was cold and my blanket was only up to my waist. But I was feeling ok. But then again out sofa can get so hot. Lol XD
It doesn’t make me feel horrible or sick. Just more of an annoyance.
Thank you for listening.

Are you taking medication for your anxiety? If yes then it’s a side effect of medication. I get overly sweaty for a couple of hours after taking my medication.
No I’m not taking any medication. Although I do take quite a few Advil and Tylenol to relieve muscle pains. And it’s quite hot over here where I live.
Usually after I work out my body tends to run hot even up to the next day. Just in general my body has always been hot, not sure if that can be related.
I don’t think you have much to worry about. If you’re still concerned maybe try and speak to a doctor about it, it could be something that is easily resolved.
If you’re used to the fact that your body is hot (temperature wise lol) after you workout and you know it stays hot for a while after, and you say that overall you feel good then I guess it’s nothing to worry about but again I would suggest that if you’re worried check it with your doctor.
Yes . Anxiety can make you feel hot . I never know if it’s anxiety or hot flash as I’m a woman . But it’s a symptom that can certainly happen unfortunately .
Hi, I had the same symptoms. I ascribed it to anxiety; took Advil cold and sinus and took it easy for a day or two. It resolved and so far it hadn’t returned.
Yes, I get that way when I'm anxious. I also get hot flashes too bc of peri-menopause too.
Have you checked your blood pressure? Sometimes when my wife's blood pressure is a bit high, she gets like that. Nothing to worry about, just a little bit, but, it explained the reason as to why she was hot.
I’m with you on hot flashes . And anxiety PLUS peri/meno stuff is awful ! I’m getting bloodwork soon to check my hormones but I know I have all that going on ... just want to see where everything is at . Then see what is hopefully non hormonal that can help maybe . Sorry you deal with it too .
Yes I over heat all the time. I use to get incredibly hot while sleeping somehow its gotten better , but I notice while drinking coffee or anything hot sometimes food , i feel like im in death valley and next thing you know im ripping off my pajama top. Then I am freezing. My endocrinologist said im pre menopause and I am being tested for high cortisol levels. So far im testing positive for cushings disease. So menopause anxiety disorder ptsd and cushings who knows my system isnt workimg. Oh yeah and suddenly im having the crying spells everything in life makes me cry. First thing I do when I wake
Up is cry. I imagine thats depression. I need help
I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Hope you can overcome your anxiety and improve your health condition soon. I know it's difficult, BUT you have to believe that it's possible. It IS possible, but hard. Please don't give up. My feelings are with you.
Anxiety can and does do that. It’s crazy cause working out is a great anti anxiety tool but the sensations that come with the muscle fatigue can trigger anxiety and cue all that. Try ice cold water during those times and lighter clothing for sleep, cottons. You’re not alone. Good vibes up
