Heat Symptoms

Hello everyone,

I wanted to ask if any of you have experienced your body being hot with no fever? Is this a part of anxiety?

For a week now i have been feeling hot with no temperature. I get tired and start sweating faster than usual.

My tension headache is so much better now, but when I do a little bit of work out or get in the hot shower my tension comes back for a few minutes then goes.

For example my wife woke me up saying it was cold and my blanket was only up to my waist. But I was feeling ok. But then again out sofa can get so hot. Lol XD

It doesn’t make me feel horrible or sick. Just more of an annoyance.

Thank you for listening.

Are you taking medication for your anxiety? If yes then it’s a side effect of medication. I get overly sweaty for a couple of hours after taking my medication.

Hello incognito,

No I’m not taking any medication. Although I do take quite a few Advil and Tylenol to relieve muscle pains. And it’s quite hot over here where I live.

Usually after I work out my body tends to run hot even up to the next day. Just in general my body has always been hot, not sure if that can be related.

I don’t think you have much to worry about. If you’re still concerned maybe try and speak to a doctor about it, it could be something that is easily resolved.

Yeah I don’t think it’s too concerning. Cause I feel fine overall. Apart from my anxiety of course.

Thank you for listening btw :)

If you’re used to the fact that your body is hot (temperature wise lol) after you workout and you know it stays hot for a while after, and you say that overall you feel good then I guess it’s nothing to worry about but again I would suggest that if you’re worried check it with your doctor.

I will, actually have another appointment with him in 2 weeks will definitely bring it up.

Yes . Anxiety can make you feel hot . I never know if it’s anxiety or hot flash as I’m a woman . But it’s a symptom that can certainly happen unfortunately .

I’m so sorry. I know that feeling too well :/

Hi, I had the same symptoms. I ascribed it to anxiety; took Advil cold and sinus and took it easy for a day or two. It resolved and so far it hadn’t returned.

Yeah seems like it all leads to the anxiety.

I will just try to keep out the sun and relax.

Yes, I get that way when I'm anxious. I also get hot flashes too bc of peri-menopause too.

Have you checked your blood pressure? Sometimes when my wife's blood pressure is a bit high, she gets like that. Nothing to worry about, just a little bit, but, it explained the reason as to why she was hot.

Hello swilly,

Yes I actually got my BP check this week and it’s good. I somewhat knew it was an anxiety symptoms but wasn’t too sure. I’m glad it’s a common thing.

Thanks for your input :)

I’m with you on hot flashes . And anxiety PLUS peri/meno stuff is awful ! I’m getting bloodwork soon to check my hormones but I know I have all that going on ... just want to see where everything is at . Then see what is hopefully non hormonal that can help maybe . Sorry you deal with it too .

Interesting,

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Even though I feel good most of the time but I can get pretty warm at times.

Thanks for your Reply :)

Anxiety can and does do that. It’s crazy cause working out is a great anti anxiety tool but the sensations that come with the muscle fatigue can trigger anxiety and cue all that. Try ice cold water during those times and lighter clothing for sleep, cottons. You’re not alone. Good vibes up
