Sometimes you have to leave some people behind, not because they don't matter, but for your own place in life you have to let go.

I have spent far too long trying to please others, but after a while you know you have to change things to enable your own light to shine forth in this difficult world.

We suffer being trod on by those we thought were friends, only to find they never were friends in the first place, and many want us to bow to their agenda, don't. Life is a hard taskmaster, never to be taken for granted, its lessons to be learned.

Not many people are that truly important for you to consider them above all else, because sure as life itself they prove you are not really important to them at all. Life is just an invisible thread which holds people together, but the time comes when you have to sever that thread and prove that you can go it alone without hindrance from others, it's a tough thread to break, but do it we must, if we want to regain our joy in this crazy world.
