I thought i had recovered from Covid

I thought i was through the worst of Covid as i had been feeling much better overall, but today i did a new test and its still coming up with 2 heavy red lines and now i'm plunged into the doldrums once again.

Looking back I believe the 2 years of lock down has changed us, and non-more so than the isolation it brought with it, and its the isolation which has caused major depression, a depression that wont go away.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if we dont have another lockdown as winter approaches because the virus keeps on mutating.

Please stay vigilant and safe.

I’m glad you’re feeling better physically. The positive just means you’re still contagious/active virus. Give it a day or two and you’ll probably be able to go out and about your business. Once you get going again, hopefully the depression from having covid will lift.

Depression can cause us to think of worse case scenarios. I’ve heard a little squawk here in the states about lockdown, but we can’t shut down again because of the major hit to the economy it would cause and all the other rifts to people. I can’t imagine the UK shutting down again either.

Glad you’re feeling better, the tests will probably settle down, I so agree Covid changed everything, from hospital and GP apps to how it affected us mentally. I dont think they will have lock down again though as we have the jabs now and it would cost too much money, we must all try and look after ourselves, I always still use hand gel when im out and I’m always washing my hands after greeting people , take care 👍

But the jabs are not preventing anyone catching it?

Unfortunately they will never stop it altogether , I think we’ll always have it like the flu, many people die with the flu every winter even with flu jabs, we just have to live with it and take extra care

we will still get covid but it's not supposed to be as severe with the vaccine, so they say. the us can't handle another shut down. our economy is bad enough now. and people have gotten so nasty with one another. The masks are the worst part of all of it for me. I get so claustrophobic with them on.
