I am feeling lonely too. I don’t have any close friends and my sister just left for school on Friday, and it feels very empty without her. I’ve been very sad the last two weeks for many reasons, but there’s one quote I try to remember: “Sometimes in life, you have to push through and hope there’s better stuff ahead.” I am very sorry that you’re struggling with such an awful thing, and please know that new friends can be made at any time and age. ❤️

Hi,

Loneliness is pretty awful and can lead to depression. Is there anywhere where you can socialize, like classes? I've met some wonderful people lately going to senior and community centers and a jewelry class. Why not check out seniorplanet.org, Monday thru Friday on zoom. I've met some pretty wonderful people there and there are people from all over the world. I'm here for you and hugs. I hope you feel better soon.
