Increase to 100mg Zoloft

Currently on 75mg Zoloft/Sertraline. Increased to 100mg tonight per my doctor’s advice. I’m so nervous. When I first started Zoloft at 25mg I was okay, but then had breakthrough anxiety due to adjusting to the new medicine. I hope going from 75mg to 100mg isn’t a drastic change and makes me have anxiety. Any thoughts or experience with increasing dosage?

I started at 25mg, then 50mg, then felt good at 75mg… It’s been about 6 months being on 75mg. Meant to add that to my initial post.

I started off on 100mg then as it wasn't helping went to 150mg which made all the difference.

Sertraline isn't a strong powerful drug you know so don't be nervous.

I have been on 100mg sertraline upped to 125mg then 150mg after 8 weeks I am in a mess with my anxiety

When I was on sertraline I worked my way up to 200mg/day which isn't uncommon so you have room to move up. It can also take a few weeks or more before you notice a difference after changing your dose so try to relax some and give it time to work.

Thank you. It’s been going well besides headaches and my jaw clenching. That’ll go away I’m sure.
