I have had a migraine since Tuesday, the throbbing, sick to my stomach kind! Nothing I have for it is working. Most people would be able to go to bed and rest. Nope, not in this house. It’s 1:53 am and I’m sitting here in the dark. One cat wants out and one came in demanding to be fed. My darling husband tells me he’s hungry then goes back to sleep. Thanks for the enlightenment…I kinda figured that out when his claws dug into my hand!! The hand holding the pillow over my aching head!! Now the dog has to go outside. Guess I’ll watch tv. I hate my life!!

Sorry to hear about you having a migraine. I don't suffer them often thankfully. I know how miserable it can be. You must really love your cats hehe. Head pain is the worst. Are you treated for them? My friend does physical therapy and botox for hers. Mine are not often enough that I want to take more meds.

I’m taking Emagity shots once a month and they have been working great and I have rizitriptan for the breakthrough headaches but nothing is touching it! I have had headaches since I was a little girl. They have gotten worse over the years and never stop. After 30 years of trying to get help I finally got these shots. And now this doctor is leaving. Maybe that’s why I can’t get rid of this, I’m stressed I won’t find a new doctor that will help me.

Dealing with a new doctor can be really stressful. I'm been thinking of what will I do for a couple days now. I hope you can sleep soon

So sorry U have bad headaches. I’m almost 65 and have bad headaches since I’ve been a little girl. They run in my family. Maybe U should try to find a neurologist. I’ve had lidocaine shots in neurologist’s office that helped me with my pain. Lidocaine ointment is also helpful to rub into trigger points on your forehead and other sensitive areas.

The woman I have been seeing is a neurologist pa. She works with the neurologist. She has set me up with an appointment with the neurologist beginning in February. I live in a very rural area. There are only maybe 6 neurologists in the whole area. That’s including ones 200 miles away. Most wont even take new patients. Maybe this guy is great but I’m afraid he won’t be as attentive as she is. He will now have his own patients plus all of hers. I guess it’s part of the illness, I don’t handle changes very easy. I just found this pa a year ago, coming from a neurologist who had treated me for the last 7 years and did absolutely nothing for me.

I understand what U R saying. I’m so sorry that U have to go thru this. I come from a large city where I have choices to pick from. I guess that I take these things for granted. February is a long way off. Perhaps call the new doctor’s office. Make sure that U R on the list for cancellation to see if you can get into the office earlier b
