If I can stop one Heart from breaking
I shall not live in vain
If I can ease one life the Aching
Or cool one Pain
Or help one fainting
Robin Unto his
Nest again I shall not live in Vain.

Emily Dickinson wrote some beautiful poems- thank you 💛
Yes Earth Sitter. She has so many nature ones. I love her. When I studied her it was thought she may have been bipolar. She wrote a poem about mania in ‘I taste a liquor never brewed’ one.
I just googled it. She suffered mental illness later in life
The illness was though to be depression and bipolar
❤️🐬
yes! Fascinating! I think and it seemed she had agoraphobia as well.
Yes
I just found this
This is such a strange coincidence. Look what I wrote last night:
healthunlocked.com/anxiety-...
All that wisdom and creativity from a mind that others would call flawed.
❤️🐬
Dickinson? I never focus on gossipy biographies. Her writing touches me. That's what I care about.
I never understood what anyone got, learning "the dirt" about public figures. Do we need that badly to drag others down to feel better about ourselves?
Well I was actually responding to your list on your link
I never read Dickenson myself but she made it to the big leagues so she's got something .
I don't do any reading to feel better about myself other than self help books.
Which ones do you mean by gossipy because I am on the waiting list to read Prince Harry's book hahahaha
For me, this poem will mean you, and all you've taught me.
Wow thank you Starrlight. Was reading some of her poems just a few days ago.
Emily wrote from both her heart and mind…how she felt and thought… and those who experience anxiety and depression often find a connection to her poems.
I have only recently discovered her … thankyou.
Yes! You’re welcome
One of my favorite poets --
That is nice and refreshing I needed to read that today
