Yes, the inner critic must go, do my best to silence it but sometimes it just doesn’t go away.
Meditation and "letting my critical thoughts go" is the only way I know how to "silence my inner critic." Sometimes, it is impossible, and the "monkey brain" wins; other times, with patience, I win. Sometimes it even takes several days of doing this to quiet my inner detractor. And sometimes, I really don't have the time, and I live miserably in battle with it.
I focused on books about serial killers til my brain started thinking people I associated with could be serial killers. Paranoia. I looked at people sideways. I didn’t think that would happen, but it did. Had to stop reading those types of books. So yeah….be aware of what you focus on in life.
I still look at people sideways but for different reasons. 😵💫
Yes, it can be, but how do you stay in touch with what is going on? I try not to take it too seriously, if I can.
Why keep in touch with it, live your life, not fear by the mind controllers. If its important someone will tell you. Be free be you.
There is too much going on in the World! Trump court trials, 2024 Presential campaign, U.S. Southern border, Ukraine, etc. (Some of it tragic, some makes me laugh!)
