So I tested positive for coronavirus on Monday. I can’t stop getting anxiety everyday because of it. My symptoms were a lot worse earlier this week. Now I have little to no symptoms but for some reason I can’t stop getting anxiety. My temp always rises but only at night up to 100.5 which freaks me out because I’m not sure why I’m still getting fevers. Is this normal? I cannot stop getting anxiety 😓

Hi lonewolf good to see your beating corona virus and I wish you get rid of it completely soon! The virus will be the main thing that's driving your anxiety which may seem like a never ending merry go round but you will beat it hope fully as you continue to get well things will get better try not to look up Google for this as there's a lot of misinformation on there! You will be better doing what you have done stay with the group and I wish you well please take care david
Loads of love and care to you, Lonewolf! I’m sure you are gonna get better soon, happy to hear you have mild symptoms! It will make it easier to recover keep tight and in touch with all of us! Everyone here is much better than google we have love and understanding!
Sorry to hear you contracted this but it sounds like you are doing a lot better. All of us are guilty of worrying or Googling about our symptoms. Things can be scary, worrying, and so on. But do remember your body is an amazing machine that is capable of great recovery which you're in the middle of. Fevers can come and go, this especially when you take medication to bring a fever down while fighting an infection...eventually it'll wear off and the fever returns. Also, remember the fever is your body's own response to an infection. It's natural.
I know if I were in your shoes, I would absolutely feel the same. But, try to be kind to yourself by knowing your body is doing its part in fighting off the infection. I would say it's totally normal to still have a fever while you're trying to mend up. You can always call a doctor or nurse line for reassurance on the fever, drink plenty of water, and if your breathing isn't impacted by it, maybe try some breathing exercises to relax. You aren't alone with anxiety in this....honestly when hearing of Covid my first automatic worry was what will I do if I get it AND have to manage anxiety? It sounds like you're doing fantastic despite Covid and just need to reassure your mind a bit with something reassuring (a positive affirmation), "This hasn't been too bad, the fever is a bit annoying, but otherwise my body is recovering and I will be okay." Reinforce the idea to your mind and maybe even see how putting the anxiety over the fever goes by allowing yourself to "set it to the side for now". Please take care and wishing you a total recovery from the virus and the anxiety. You got this!
This actually made me feel a lot better. I should think of this differently. I did speak with a doctor and he did confirm that the fevers were normal. So far I haven’t gotten a fever tonight which is good news! 😁 thank you so much for your kind words. They really helped 😊
So glad your feeling better and each day will be better than the day before. Keep yourself busy so the negativity and anxiety don't take hold. Some good ideas here bit.ly/38PNkF5 on surviving the virus.
