Went to hospital asked for eval.

I went after talking with Psych advise nurse. Got a ride went to ER. Arrived at 8 left at 12. Could go either way but no beds so sent home to wait for Monday video phone call to discuss next steps.

It took desperation and bravery to bare my inner thoughts and feelings. I now feel guilty that I wasted time and space for someone else who needed it more.

Recommend crisis house or hospital but not on a Friday night. No beds or not open.

Told they are confident that I will not harm and if someone just stays with me. but if it gets worse come back.

Why bother to go. could have talked myself the same way with still no resolution. Oh yeah and told you definitely need meds. take care.

I am grateful for the service they offer. I am glad they think I am safe. still at ed of rope. Still lost desperate and frozen stuck. but it is only 2 more days.

Sorry for the rant. I will be fine there is no other option.

How is everyone else. what good is happening.

I'm proud of you Lightswitch in going forward in getting help for yourself.

Don't worry about taking up their time as you are just as important as anyone

else. Please keep us updated on your progress and what they advise you to do

I'm the same way. I had to feel really bad before I asked for help. You get to a certain point and you just don't care, you'll do whatever it takes to get well. I'm glad you took that step. There is hope!
