Went to the ER for weakness, shaking, feeling short of breath. Labs were perfect. White blood cell was slightly elevated but the Doctor said I'm great. I still feel weak and shaky. No appetite at all which isn't me. I wonder if this is a new form of anxiety for me? Anyone else experience this?

ER Yesterday Low Blood Pressure Feeling Weak
i experience this your not alone . i had a low blood pressure dizzy spell today but its because i am fasting and not drinking enough water
Anxiety makes me feel very weak and tired and have no appetite. Try and eat if you can and drink lots of water. Take care x
Thank you. I feel like I cannot get a good breath either.
def anxiety the cannot get a good breath. And something scary, if you realize it and affirm you’re not getting the good breath it lingers too. So sorry I feel for you totally. So glad you’re ok and ur labs and tests were good. Def agree with Hiba and everyone else food and water. Even if the anxiety makes you not want to eat just force it like a task and move on as much as you can. Cause the food and water intake will help a lot!! Prayers up to you dear.
I naturally have low blood pressure. It's important to stay hydrated and stand up slowly if you're lying down. Also, if you feel faint, sit down or kneel on the floor. This will help boost your blood pressure. Sorry you had to go to the ER. It's a scary thing. Try drinking protein shakes if you don't feel like solid food. I pray you feel better soon 🙏
I would think you’d have to rule out a lot of variables to determine if is a nutrition thing, sleep, exercise, or something else.
Three times I went to the emergency room with these same symptoms. The doctors found nothing wrong. Inside I am screaming that there is something wrong. Found it was all due to anxiety and I finally worked through it with a therapist. My heart goes out to you because this is an awful feeling. You will get better with some help.
Don't mean to scare you, and I'm really not even sure I should be telling you this, but you need to find out what that low BP means if it is really low (not just like 10% off usual). How low is it? Last year I had low BP for weeks which was a surprise for me since mine is usually pretty high even with BP meds. I kind of ignored it, thinking my BP meds were doing a better job (I hadn't changed any). About a month after the low BP started I was rushed to the hospital in heart failure and had to have an emergency pacemaker transplant.
Like I said, I don't mean to scare you and I'm certainly not saying you are going into heart failure. But anxiety does not cause low blood pressure. If it is just a little low (like 10% - blood pressure does fluctuate all the time), I wouldn't worry, just keep monitoring it and make sure it is normal most of the time. But if you are showing other symptoms of a possible weak heart, like weakness in your legs (which I had because the heart was not pumping enough blood to the legs), extreme tiredness and sleepiness, breathlesness (all of which I had and like a dummy ignored), then just to be safe you should at least make sure your primary physician (not your psychiatrist) knows of these symptoms and can tell you why your BP is low. Maybe your doctor will order an echocardiogram (takes about 20 minutes and shows how strong the heart is pumping). The ER cleared you you said but did they do an echocardiogram or look at your cardio function in depth at all? Did they tell you why your BP was low? What was your oxygenation (the clip they put on your finger)? If it was 95 or over you're OK. Good luck and definitely get a reason for that low BP if it stays low or goes lower.
EKG was great and oxygen was great. They weren't sure why it was 108/58. They said BP was normal. I'm just used to running high.
Well, if your normal pressure is around 120-130/70-75 then 108/58 is not really low, just a normal variation. If your normal pressure is around 150-160/80-90, then it's low and I would at least get some medical professional to tell you what the possible causes are (causes like some of the other replies suggest might be happening). Then if you have triggered a cause at least you'll know. If you don't mind saying, why did you wear a monitor and what was it monitoring?
