so of course every time I think I’m having somewhat of an okay day even did physical activity for 25 minutes. Though really haven’t ate much today. But was sitting there started feeling woozy lightheaded took my bp it was 115/62 took it again a little later it was 114/61. And I started getting weird feeling because I’m like this doesn’t feel right. My mom was like let me finish up with dinner and you need to eat and we will go from there I ate dinner and currently just laying here took my bp and it was 126/75. Pulse and oxygen are good pulse is like 95 and oxygen 99. So idk I’m tired of weird shit happening to me how can my bp be 145/88 and even higher sometimes and then just be here and bam it’s low for me and I definitely feel it. I’m so afraid it’s my heart I don’t think I have internal bleeding or anything like that or pregnant lol I’m not dehydrated normal urine color. So like wtf yes I know we aren’t doctors in here but like I’m just looking to know I’m not insane or if anyone has suggestions. My mom was like you’re freaking out I’m like yeah it scares me when I feel lightheaded and funky which freaking out didn’t raise my bp

low blood pressure
It sounds to me like you had low blood sugar. It is very important to eat three meals a day, or, if that is uncomfortable, eat 5-6 smaller snack type meals. Are you eating healthy food. In your situation I think healthy food may be very important. Low blood sugar is a very bad feeling. A quick remedy is a glass of orange juice or a handful of raisins. It is very important to eat at regular intervals, including a little something in mid evening. xx
low blood sugar can lower blood pressure?
Not sure. Ask your doctor or check the internet. Nonetheless, to me it sounds exactly like low blood sugar. I don't have a blood pressure machine, but I know that if I forget a meal or there is to much time between meals I get very weak and if I don't catch it I feel like I could pas out. Don't go without eating. Low blood sugar is a very bad feeling.
Those levels are all very normal.Blood pressure is meant to fluctuate and it will go up after a meal to provide the oxygen you need for digestion.Your pulse is rather high but you are anxious so that explains that.Try not to keep taking your blood pressure.Perhaps take it once a week but at your age it's unlikely you'll have any problems. As to feeling lightheaded that can be an anxiety symptom too but if you keep feeling like that then I would ask your doctor.
I have had this condition for 50 years it is called situational hypertension it basically means when u get upset your blood pressure rises but when u calm down it returns to normal. Very hard to medicate I have managed with bp medication and Xanax if really stressed but not on a prescription basis Hope info helps
Blood pressure and pulse will always fluctuate throughout the day. Those readings are great to okay. 145/88 would be a concern if that was your consistent reading on a regular basis. When you eat, blood pressure increases to get the blood where it's in demand like the digestive tract. Even your oxygen levels can drop (not substantially but partially) while you sleep. Definitely believe in your body here....it's doing what it does.
But from your posts lately....is it maybe what you're eating? In this, it could mean whether you're having large meals, a food allergy, or something spicy that possibly causes heart burn or acid reflux? Checked for gluten issues? I ask this because when I eat too large of a meal or smoky/acidic food (like barbeque or pasta), I bloat badly. In turn, my already adjusted heart rate for digestion becomes noticeable. I feel anxious because the pressure from my stomach pushes on the diaphragm (I also have a hiatal hernia) making it feel like I am having issues with asthma. It might be worth experimenting with your meal time. Something like....eat a portion for dinner....and a bit later have the other portion (2-3 hours if possible).
That blood pressure isn't in the freak out area. It would likely put you in the hypertension 1 area at best if this were a regular blood pressure daily....your doctor would give you blood pressure meds. And blood pressure is typically something that takes time on the system to eventually cause issues. Anxiety will absolutely increase it. Eating increases it. Generally speaking, blood pressure in the 170-180's over 120-140's is the danger zone. Obviously this could vary person to person.
But returning to the eating.....is it possible you feel tired/lightheaded from a heavy meal? Or is anxiety coming on while you notice the change in your system as your nervous system changes to "rest and digest"? Personal question, but after a meal and this type of stress coming on, have you had loose bowel movements? I only ask this because when we're in "rest and digest" and anxiety or an action event occurs, the body can occasionally void all digestion to move to "fight or flight" as the blood leaves the gut to go where it needs for fight or flight (heart, lungs, legs, arms). In turn, it can cause the bowels to release giving you a quick indication that you need to use the restroom. I'm okay enough to admit this has happened to me before while having an anxiety attack.
Your pulse is technically normal and not out of range. Anything over 100 is tachycardia....and again this might be treated by medication. A beta blocker helps reduce both blood pressure and pulse. Anything from 60-99 is normal (it can even be lower if you're a super athlete....some Olympians have a resting heart rate in the 40s). I would say anxiety with a 95 pulse. But the pulse ox is saying your blood flow is getting a good dose of oxygen....so the system seems to show your body is working correctly.
I'd say to try to rest, relax, and reduce stress during these episodes to see what occurs. Does the light headed feeling go away as the anxiety reduces? Does a heavier meal seem to cause it? The type of meal by chance? This happens to me a lot and I absolutely can freak out a bit myself so I get it. Still standing though. The lightheaded and feeling off sound more anxiety driven. 10000% head somewhere if you have any doubts, but if it's a heart related issue....you might normally feel pain in your left arm, neck, or jaw radiating back....sweating. The tough side of that is.....a lot of the symptoms for heart issues....yep...they're on the anxiety symptom list, too. If you can, try to recall when this started exactly, how much you ate, what you ate. Be a detective because I feel like there's something here.
My last advice is to pace out taking your blood pressure. If you take it on one arm and do it immediately again, you could get an incorrect measurement from the prior constriction. Switch arms....and is the machine you're using fairly accurate (you can take it to your doctors and see what their reading shows versus the machine). I have health anxiety as well so I travel with my little anxiety bag....and there's definitely a blood pressure wrist monitor with me. If you jam enough data (some possibly incorrect with wrong readings), you can easily set off the anxiety bells. I also read one of your other posts about your mother (I'm so sorry what you're dealing with and wishing you the strength for both of your health outcomes!). With all you're managing, you might be heavily stressed out. Extra rest, sleep well, hydrate, give yourself some breaks, be kind to yourself when you have these moments. It sounds like you have a ton going on. Get better, man, and I hope these sensations cut you a break already. Let us know if you find anything out with the food and all....I really think maybe there's something in between the lines there.
”Though really haven’t ate much today.” this is your answer. The less you eat the more what you eat impacts your mood. But really those numbers wouldn’t make any doctor concerned. It is the trend that matters.
I am having the same thing right now
