Feeling Hyper Today. Zoloft?

I felt energized all day today. Didn’t eat which is not like me. Did great at work, then came home and cleaned. I found out my friend is coming to visit so maybe that motivated me? Not sure, but I took clonazepam this afternoon so I don’t know why I’m feeling energy? I was scared I was going into a crazy manic episode. That’s my fear of psychosis of course. Which I’ve NEVER had.

clonazepam usually makes me sleepy but I take 3 at a time instead of 1. (I'm supposed to take 3 per day). I tried zoloft in my teens after my dad died but I never felt anything from it. Is it good? My new psychiatrist prescribed it but I feel like SSRIs have been proven to not work. Just wondering how it helps you?

It’s been fantastic. However I noticed I needed to increase after a few weeks. I think I’ve hit my therapeutic dose.

I tried to increase my alprazolam and clonazepam but they just wanted to give me perphenazine instead which does absolutely nothing for me. It sucks when you know what's working for you but the doctor can't understand. Now my new one took me off alprazolam and oxcarbazepine. It's so annoying. I hate taking pills at all but nothing else seemed to work. At least now I can sleep more I guess. But even my dreams are bad, so there's really no escape from anything.

They’re strict about Xanax now and even klonopin. I understand. Kava and Blue Lotus are natural and have helped me.

I found a combination of Geodon and Zoloft work for me and my depression. Maybe you need an additional medicine?

Thanks. I was feeling the anxiety wanting to make its introduction but somehow it didn’t.

Yes clonazepam does clear much of anxiety symptoms. My concern is that everyone seems to be warning about taking it. The Psychiatrist I see says it can be addictive.

yes, it can be very addictive
