I want advice on this situation

My younger sister has been playing a particular sport since she was 10 qnd even before that she has been doing sports since she was 4. But right now we cannot afford her coaching or matches due to monetary issues. I myself have been stuck in a particular academic degree even though I was an exemplary student before it. My sister has basically lived life as an athlete but there is a chance she might not be able to continue. She is a silent person who doesn't talk much about her sufferings and numbs out her pain by avoiding it. In a particularly emotional state she confessed to me that she feels like dying because of the fact that she might not be able to continue sports. I don't know how to support she is dear to me and I want to support her I don't know how to do that. I am not very good at managing myself either I have anxiety too so I don't have a good emotional regulation mechanism how do I help her I don't want to lose her she is not in the mental state to visit a mental health professional

We have tried everything qnd are still working on it but everything all sources are not working

Could she feel rewarded if she tried teaching/coaching her sport to youngsters? Just a thought.

I am very sorry to hear about your sister.

Is she dealing with physical or mental pain? Has she been diagnosed by a medical professional?

If she refuses to talk about it or won't see a doctor, you are powerless over this. About the only thing you can do is remind her that unless she reaches out for help, things will continue as they are.
