I started taking Prozac for 3 days and it caused extreme nausea and vomiting so my doctor changed to Zoloft 25mgI haven’t started it yet.
Are the side effects milder with Zoloft?

Potential side effects for any medication can be extremely different for everyone.
I have been on a long list of anti-depressants & many of them were not effective at all or caused really miserable side effects yet many of them are very helpful for other people.
The ones I take now are pretty helpful but it took a long time, years, to get it right.
All I can suggest is that hopefully your provider starts with a low dose, (which they usually do) and if there are no apparent side effects then they usually increase the dose & it can take up to a month or two to see what happens.
I know this isn´t much help but basically it just takes patience when you´re starting a new medication. Hopefully you will have a much better experience with Zoloft & hoping it helps! Just be patient.
All the best!
I was on zoloft for a number of years and didn't have any side affects except for mild sexual issues (delayed climax) which is pretty common for men taking it.
Prozac comes on a little stronger and quicker than Zoloft. I’ve taken both. Zofran is great for nausea if you still have it with Zoloft. Ask your doctor about it. Great anti nausea med. Also slightly calming. Serotonin is in our stomach so these SSRIs can cause tummy troubles.
