I am currently taking 100mg twice a day and been on it almost a year. It is the only thing that has helped me tremendously. I do have periods of no appetite and have lost about 30 lbs because of it but mental wise couldn't ask for anything better for me.

I have taken Zoloft and never had an issue with it . Zoloft takes several days to get into your system to start working .I myself it did not work very well but our body's are all different and it may work for you . It's worth a try and safe to take .

Newbie here does anyone have social anxiety . I have tried so many different meds for the last 30 years but can not find the correct medication . I don't like to take meds but I know I need them . I own my own company and am to the point where I do not want to talk to anyone on the phone . Any little thing bothers me no matter what it is . My temper has gotten so bad and I know it .Anyone feel the same way and what have you taken for it . Thanks for any advise .

How do you feel about herbs? I can tell you what i use. It's called nerve tonic. Walmart carries it, it's not a drug.

Hi I think there is a lower dose to start on ? I have been on these BUT they made my anxiety worse on a higher dose

Very Best wishes

I took only about 12.5mg for three weeks and had to stop due to side effects. These side effects included burning fingers and arms, body temperature fluctuations, and a painful prostate gland (it hurt to even sit down) due to an inability to orgasm. Everyone is different though, so perhaps this medicine will work for you. Someone on this thread said that it takes a few days to work but for me, I noticed it working immediately. Unfortunately, I couldn't handle the side effects.

I was on Zoloft for about 12 years and never noticed any side effects around 1998-2010. The only reason why the doctors and I discontinued it was the meds weren't as effective as the once were. But recently they docs have put me back on it. I don't believe I have been having any side effects. But I also currently I take wellbutrin in the AM and my zoloft 100mg in the PM. But please keep in mind my experience with zoloft is UNIQUE to my body make up. Every one is different so LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.

Hope that helps.

I took 150mg of Zoloft from age 16-27. I never had a problem with it. If you start to notice side effects, just talk to your doctor.

Try it, it could be a miracle! If not, let your Doctor know. He can switch it.

I've had no issues with it and I'm at a dosage of 50mg. Side effects may depend on the person and their tolerance to it?

I am on 25mg.I have been on it for about five months and it has changed my life. I got on Zoloft because I was breast feeding at the time, and it is safe to breast feed while on Zoloft. I got off of it a little while but a year later got back on and I feel like it helps me soooo much. It takes a little while to work, for me about six weeks but since then I feel like a new person. I was on Paxil in high school and my early twenties and it made me feel like a Zombie. On Zoloft I don’t get that numb feeling. The 25mg is a low dose but for me it works wonders. It really helps.

I AM ON ZOLOFT 100MG DAILY FOR YEARS AND IT HAS BEEN VERY HELFUL FOR ME. ALSO XNAX AS NEEDED I VERY SELDOM TAKE IT BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO BECOME DEPENTED ON IT BUT, WHEN I NEED IT I CAN FEEL THE DIFFERENCE.

I take zoloft, i don'thave any complaints about it. It keeps me on an even level. So far it has been the better drug for me. I've been on several anti depressants that didn't help. It does take awhile to get in your system.

Google Zoloft side effects, and you will know what to what for. Zoloft had been around a long time and is one of the more popular prescriptions.

Did u take it

Yes my sister. She loves it too. The only problem s that it is an opiate and not meant to be used as a permanent solution. Sorry if I burst your bubble I also like my tranquilizer but only take a minimal dose or emergency dose if I'm super anxious. Now on Zoloft and Busisporone combo. Seems to be helping but I am fatigued. Push myself to exercise, meditate, am part of an online zoom group in Quebec, Canada. Every little bit helps. Sending hugs and blessings for a Happy New Year. Sorry this reply was meant for the person on Clonazapam. I have done well so far on Zoloft. Do not see undesirable side effects. It gas brought some much needed relief. Also take Buspar. I also seem to be doing well. Have balance issues when hungry that I never had before. Is it the drugs, hunger or age factor. I'm 64. Sending hugs and best wishes for you.

I’m not sure Zoloft is an opiate? I believe it’s an SSRI.

Yes my text was referring to Clonazapam. Yes of course Zoloft is an SSRI. Have a good day. New Years blessings to you.
