today was a challenge. However, I am trying to change my mindset and focus on the positives. I was able to get some school work done. I was able to take a nap and rest. One of the things I’m most proud of is that for dinner I ate a bowl of pasta and two pieces of garlic bread. I am extremely tired from the anxiety and crying. I’m about to go to bed but I can’t help but think about tomorrows challenges. Tomorrow I go back to work (I am a teacher we had a long weekend). I know being with my students will be a good distraction but I’m worried I’ll feel sick and struggle. I also know how hard it is for me to wake up in the morning and eat and get going. My anxiety makes me want to stay in bed in the mornings. I just want to be back to normal

trying to find comfort as I think about tomorrow
Daisy, when I wake up each day, after meditation, I sit up and say "I'm Back"
It's a way for my brain to accept the challenges of the day no matter what.
Breathe, bring your shoulders down away from your ears and take that step
forward knowing you are doing a good job and a most worthwhile one.
Goodnight Daisy...sleep well xx
Im happy to hear about your positives from today, despite the challenges. You made it through and that is an accomplishment in and of itself.
At bed time I like to use a little bit of essential oil on and the scent helps to relax me, particularly lavender. I also find using a hot compress helps to comfort me as well.
When you eat, do you feel better?
I understand how hard the mornings can be, do you find that you get enough sleep or are you usually feeling a lack of rest?
It's nice that your students have such a dedicated teacher. I'm sorry you've experienced having to suffer through work though. Would it help to have a hot herbal beverage to keep you comforted while you're there? Chamomile, lavender, and mint are soothing. Chamomile can make some feel sleepy though so if that is the case for you, you could try even a mug of warm oat milk or coconut milk with some cinnamon mixed in. Cinnamon is a little stimulating but no bad side effects like caffeine. The warmth of any hot beverage always helps keep me calm.
