I've been thinking about studying abroad for aw while. Education system in India is shit. I've heard that the Education system in western countries are way better. Also, I kind of need a new experience now. To get my hands dirty(part time job) and exposing myself. Parents have green lighted this idea.
But, I'm afraid that things will backfire because of my problems like OCD and social anxiety. I'll be studying on the basis of Education loan. So what if I couldn't pay it back? What if my anxiety kicks in affect my work and studies? That's what I'm worried about.

Can you do a gap year and check out the schools and culture for a few months? I struggled when I moved from the east coast to the west *in the same country*. I think you should do it for sure. Just need to be mentally prepared.
Cool. I definitely think living abroad your age is important. Or just another part of the country if it is diverse. I can see from your posts you may have challenges. That said moving was really good for me when I was young. It is a decision you need to make.
Hi, My home city of Adelaide, Australia welcomes 10,000 overseas students each year.
I think the idea of study outside your home country has so many positives for you that if you can get started, the anxiety will be a little less. Someone once said the journey begins with the first step.
Most universities have student assistant programs (SAP) to support your study and work life. The SAP is a voluntary, confidential and complimentary counselling service to your student life. A SAP is a safe place to deal with your OCD and anxiety should they arise.
Looking at the list of positives from the experience should give you confidence to go ahead.
Having the support of your parents is a big plus. Modern technology will enable you to stay in touch.
Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your info about Australia. But I'm looking on going to UK. I also hope to earn more money along with studies. I've heard so many positive reviews about UK.
I was thinking a visit to where you want to relocate for work and school might help with the anxiety. It’s difficult for anyone moving by themselves to an unknown area. Having anxiety would seem to magnify the problem. My suggestion was to address some of the fear of the known by visiting the area first. Would that be an option? Do you have a date that you want to move by?
In my opinion studying abroad is very important not just because of knowledge you get there but also because of the experience you will have living and studying in a foreign country. Theoretically it can boost your independence to the sky Also a lot of foreign universities can boast to have such technologies like proctoredu.com/auto-proctoring embedded into their educational systems which is great!
