scared of getting sick

I thought my dishes were clean because they looked clean and they smelled fine so I use them when I was cooking but when I went to go load my dishwasher with my dirty dishes and put the soap and I noticed that the soap didn’t dispense from the soap dispenser which means my dishes that I eat off of an used to cook we’re only rinsed with hot water and they weren’t washed with soap. Now I’m terrified illl throw up

Daisy, you will be okay.. the hot water that the dishwasher ejects is

hot enough to kill any germs on the silverware and dishes. Things happen

some times. It's okay xx

That has happened to me before. Re-run the dishwasher and hopefully the soap works this time! I agree with Agora; the hot water should have been enough to help keep you safe. You should be good to go with a new wash!

Don't forget, one of the things that actually kill germs is heat and dryness. Always let dishes completely air dry if possible after washing (hand washed & dishwasher). Between the heat of the water in the dishwater and the drying should kill things.
