New medical things to deal with

Have to have surgery next month on my left kidney again. Another big stone. Isn't moving or passing at all. It's too big to pass on its own and will be too painful. I was told if it gets too painful before the date of procedure, 20th of next month, go to ER

oh no that sounds terrible. Can you take meds to break down the stone or that hasn’t worked? Prayers up

They recommend the surgery bc it's so big. It's a 9mm stone

oh man sorry you’re dealing with that. Maybe moving forward you can ask them about the meds that shrink them or keep them at bay so you don’t develop anymore. My sis dealt with that but took a med that breaks them down so u can pass them and stayed on it since to prevent them. Prayers up. No pain.
