I THINK ABOUT A FORT

I have one friend who really understands my level of depression. She struggles with it too. This cartoon explains our connection. We just live in different states. I loved making forts when I was a kid. Blanket forts feel like a cave, a safe cave.

I like this! It’s hard to find a friend like that!

Nice friend! I loved making sheet forts and I used to make my cat a fort when she got scared of the thunder now I love watching my dog make her nest on the bed.

Raggedy-Ann you are lucky to have a friend who understands your needs.

Being with someone who does can help emotionally and physically even through

distance. What may help is one of those weighted blankets that you can cuddle

into. The feeling it gives can make you feel safe and conforted. :) xx
