Well. ......I don't even know where to go with this

But I'm pretty sure if it's like a bright red, it's nothing serious.

But if it bothers you that much you can talk to a doctor .

I know a few hypochondriacs tho and I know almost any "sign" can be a trigger.

Bright red blood would suggest hemorrhoids. However, red food coloring could also be the culprit. My 28 year old son ate a red velvet cupcake and called me the next day freaking out, but I was able to figure out the cause fairly quickly.

Blood in your stool ALWAYS needs to be investigated properly by a doctor.

It can be a sign of cancer but more often ( esp at your age ) it is a sign of piles / haemaerroids.

Although piles are much less serious, even they need to be treated and got rid of, as they can develop into more sinister things if not dealt with.

So you MUST see a doc.

PS: even if on investigation ( usually a colonoscopy ~not painful ) the cause did turn out to be cancer, if caught early it can usually be treated v successfully.

So do NOT put off seeing the Doc., really !
