For the last 3 years or so I have had a lymphnode of the left side of my neck. very tiny. Anyways. I went bck to my doctor 2 months ago... tell them about it.
SO FAR I've had 5 labs drawn. 2 ultrasounds and even a CT scan. They don't see anything. Recently however the same side of my neck has gotten a few more. However these are more embedded. they're small. But hard to move. I'm really confused. And I try not to think the worst. I guess bc I can't get an exact answer I get antsy and come up with my own conclusion.
I'm not asking for a diagnosis but would like some insight if anyone has had a similar issue?

I have several hard spots over a long period, twenty years, I cannot decide what has caused them although it would seem nothing to worry about. In my case it may be shaving that has caused them they are hard nodules
If your neck has been scanned they would most probably see the problem.
Generally you need to put your mind at rest, talk to your GP
It sucks because I dont have health insurance. So I have to save money to see anyone besides a quick care, which doesnt make me feel better because they don't know my history and arent actual doctors *not trying to offend anyone* I really hope that I'll get answers soon.
You are at a cleft stick here where you are still worried after the scan and now with your anxiety you know a further reassurance will cost through lack of insurance to cover a further test
All I can suggest is live with your results and look into walk in clinic. I am lucky to live in the UK , We get health services free although resources are scarce and sometimes like you we sometimes need to put our money where our mouth is and pay for Private treatment , test then hopefully revert back to the NHS if something is wrong. This happened only once in my life when I was unable to get a diagnosis.
If you have had your scan your Doctor may help in the reading of the scan to show where you feel the lumps and explain what they are. Your results should show any problems and suggest the best way forward.
Could be from about 1 million different things… 999 of them not worrisome… If those nodes were concerning you would have other symptoms over three years and something would’ve came up on the results… You can let this one go! 🤗
I can really relate to this. I have a suboccipital lymph node that is enlarged but, according to the ultrasound, not abnormally enlarged. It has even shrunk over the course of 3 weeks. My doctor doesn’t appear worried but I am still losing my mind over it.
