Pro-social behavior

Pro-social behavior often refers to a set of things that we do as a service to the society. It involves being socially active, helping other people, working for a social cause, or a simple act of care. Such behavior has been linked to better mental health, increased self-esteem, sense of purpose, and sense of belonging. A simple act of service such as volunteering at an ngo, or just charity can help us feel better about ourselves and the world.
