It depends on what you like. Sometimes I listen to instrumental or classical music. Other times I listen to more inspiring music. You raise me up - Josh Groban

It's a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong

The Prayer - Celene Dion and Andrea Bocelli

Hallelujah - Pentatonix version is my favorite

Sometimes I listen to something upbeat and dance. I try to lose my anxiety by moving around.

Hope that helps.

I’m into all type of genres! Thanks so much I’ll look into those songs!

I enjoy many different genres too. So does my son. That's why he promised we would have a special mother/son dance to It's a Wonderful World when he got married. In September he kept his promise. A beautiful wedding and my most precious memory of that day.

Try searching YouTube for a group called Lucky Chops. They have a ton of videos. Performances in the subway, an Adele cover in the park and others. My son stumbled across them and we can watch their videos for hours.

Ya, me too... 😊. I just love dancing in general. But getting lost in the music is great

The ones you like. I like to get up and move and I like to move to alternative or 60s/70s rock or some pop. Oh and I love my headphones too. Plus spatial audio. I can totally tune out the world.

If you want a more empirical response binaural beats is the way to go. There are different hz for different moods. Your favorite music service will have a playlist.

Hi Curry223, my very favorite motivational song when life seems overwheming

is "Rachel Platten Fight Song (Lyrics) YouTube Music" :) xx

”Easy” by the Commodores. (Lionel Richie) This song mellows me out. 👍

Homebound by Nora En Pure

Regarding my suggestion for “Easy like Sunday morning” by Lionel Ritchie. He and I share the same birthday, we may be why I resonate with his lyrics so much! In case you’re into astrology ;)

Here another song (video) that speaks to me when I’m feeling down. “Your Song” by Elton John. His explanation of the way that the two of them (him and Bernie Tuapin) write lyrics and music together is beautiful! Hope you enjoy this as much I do!

Cheer yourself up:

Have a laugh at yourself:

i tell alexa, play classical music

^^^^That piano video is great!

Try nature sounds like the rain or a beach.

A white noise video might also be helpful.

when you need to chill, nothing better than the Grateful Dead or Pink Floyd.

I’m a metal head too, so 80s thrash brings me up 😁 (SOD, Metallica, Exodus)

I like to get nostalgic when I’m down and listen to 80s new wave (Talking Heads, The Smiths)and synth ( Flock of Seagulls or 70s-80s country ( Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, John Conlee).

Music is great on so many levels and there’s something for every mood!

These aren't songs, but there are three relaxing sounds I listen to on my Google speaker that help with anxiety: the sound of rain in Hawaii, the sound of a thunderstorm, and country night sounds. It helps more if I close my eyes and imagine myself there.
