Faithfully is stuck in my head . What songs or song gets stuck in your head ?
I have not heard these songs before ππ
Tomorrow π i will let you know if I liked them π
Thanks to you as well π
Mr blue sky everytime
Hb, here are just 2 songs that I never get tired of hearing, both by Whitney Houston
"I wanna dance with somebody" and "I will always love you" xx
Same ππ
I met Whitney once while going up the back steps to the Marriott Hotel.
She was just as beautiful as her voice xx
omg π³πππ NO FAIR πππ
Who would of thought taking the back steps (because of my anxiety) would
have led to a memorable event xx
Can I send you a PM
I want to tell you something
Too many to list, from the 50s through now, but lately, it's one line from a Post Malone song. Because I get in my head a lot, I keep singing "I want you out of my head....I want you out of my bedroom tonight." Just that one, over and over.
For me, it's almost always a Mariah Carey song π "Dreamlover," "Fantasy," "We Belong Together" and "Always Be My Baby" are on constant rotation in my tiny little brain
Anything can become an ear worm for me. Yesterday I had the intro to wolf pack by sabaton in my head. No lyrics just the instruments.
Your so Vain by Carley Simon, I love it as well as September by Earth Wind and Fire, these are both the 70's.
Mad at Disney LOL

Because I've been living under a rock since...well...forever...I discovered just this year songs from the musical Hamilton and now I'm compelled to listen to "You'll Be Back" every few days (or I'll have to start singing it...and no one wants that π). Plus, since the filmed version of the musical came out, YouTube helpfully keeps recommending clips for "My Shot" and "Washington on Your Side." Thanks YouTube. πΌ
YES! Love all the King George songs. I also am obsessed with Satisfied. Both the song itself and the story behind the performance- It took Lin-Manuel Miranda a month to write it, but Renee Elise Goldsberry memorized the whole thing the night before her audition. Right before the audition, LMM found out that she had only practiced the song for one night, and said, "So basically this audition is a waste of time because nobody can memorize this song in one night." But then Renee came out and positively nailed it and blew everyone's minds π€―
Oh yes, "Satisfied" is absolutely a powerhouse performance. I didn't know that about the audition...amazing. I read somewhere that the relationship between Hamilton and Angelica was not quite as it was depicted on the stage; have you read much about the historical/biographical background of the musical?
I have read about some, but I'm sure I haven't uncovered all the inaccuracies... I did find this article highlighting quite a few though:
tampabay.com/life-culture/2...
But specifically in regards to Satisfied, there's a line that makes me twitch slightly every time I hear the song: "My father has no sons so I'm the one/ Who has to social climb for one." Angelica Schuyler's father had 15 children, 5 of which were sons and 3 of which lived long enough to get married.
...She lies!
But that still didn't stop me from listening to the song on repeat this morning πΈ
Phew, glad to know I'm not the only one who listens to songs on repeat! πΈ
Thanks for the link!
I would repeat 80s-90s songs those are my favorites
I'm playing a '90s song on repeat right now! A song called "Resigned" by the band, Blur. I've had it on repeat for at least the past hour.
I read in your post that your favorite song is "Faithfully" -- great song -- I grew up listening to bands like Journey. What would be your favorite song from the '90s?
Everything I do I do it for you by Bryan Adamβs π or heaven oh gosh I canβt pick one π¬
Oh, I remember that song...it was on the soundtrack for the movie, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. A good choice! πΊ
sorry if I canβt choose one π
Oh, no need to be sorry! There's so many great songs...my favorites from that time change from day to day πΊ
Huey Lewis if this is it is also my favorite song because of the beginning music itβs so catchy
Definitely a catchy tune! πΆ
i sang it it while the dentist was adjusting my braces ππ
That must have been quite a challenge for the dentist! πΈ
ππ well she did it with no problem π
It's always good to have a skilled dentist like that πΊ
Sheβs used to it ππ the place that I go to plays 80s and 90s music and todayβs music all the time π
I'm sure it helps to keep the patients distracted.
Yes especially when your wires tighten because of braces itβs sometimes very painful but the pain is worth it
eyedi- & new. itβs k-pop, i recently got into the genre. itβs pretty addictive lol
Iβve had βUntil Youβre Back Here Babyβ by BBMak in my head for like 2 weeks. I liked that song but now itβs getting ridiculous. Not sure why I canβt get it out of my head. Itβs such a random song.
OMG Hb2003. I have been listening to that song repeatedly over the last two days!!! What a coincidence is this??? By the way if you were listening to that on Utube and there is a video called βSeparate Waysβ by journey. The video is hilarious but the tune is amazing.
Usually Disney songs. 40 something male singing "do you wanna build a snowman?" "How far I'll go!" "I have a dream" ... Frozen, Moana and tangled I've seen more than starwars lord of the rings and the mad max originals. That's what a 5 year old daughter does for you π€£
Let it be by the Beatles. Itβs always the simplest songs that move me the most. Like Faithfully!
Oh my goodness everything I do I do it for you by Bryan Adamβs makes me cry ππ
