Today has been full of off and on panic attacks. They've been bad today. I can't bring myself to get out of bed now...bren glued to it for hours in the dark. Being in my dark room helps. But I'm just tired of this, I don't want to be constantly stuck in bed bc of this 😞

My anxiety has been way too bad lately. All day I've had multiple panic attacks for no reason and now I'm afraid to sleep even tho I'm a exhausted because of them. And I just want some advice on what I could do to make them easier to deal with

Something that helps me a great day is doing something that helps keep me out of my mind space/ something that makes you truly happy. The thing that works for me is music when I play a song, I love it completely cools me down. You have to find what works best for you some of the people I have talked to on here like excising, going for a walk, focusing on breathing techniques. That is the first thing I do after that started talking about how I feel to someone that I trust. If therapy is not something that is avaible to you I recommend continuing to use this, it has helped me grow and find out more about myslef. Perhaps melatonin could be helpful for a better night sleep or spending time around your pets(if you have any). I hope this helps:) I promise it gets better and you are not alone!!

how does it feel when you have the attacks and what makes them happen? I am truly curious because I don’t know if what I have are panic attack, anxiety or a combination. I do know there are times all I want to do is sleep.

Ok so they just come on suddenly, without warning. Nothing usually triggers them, I just get them at times and they can be really bad. But It feels like my whole body is on fire on the inside and tingling skin, and it feels like I can't breathe and my mouth and throat get very dry. Racing heart. And they sometimes last for awhile, maybe 10 mins was longest. And they absolutely wear me out 😴
