I don’t hate people. I just try to love myself more ❤

Do I hate people? No, I don’t hate anyone. I’m just trying to save myself🤗🤗

I’m not snob or misanthrope but its just that I, if not more, but atleast in 95% cases have this experience , ( beautifully described in words by Charles Bukowski ) that:

people diminish me;

the longer I sit and listen to them

the more empty I feel but I don’t get

the idea that they feel empty, I feel

that they enjoy the sound from their

mouths.

I don’t hate them, I don’t have hatred. Its just that I’m not interested in them. I have made my own escape mechanism to save myself from being getting empty ‘coz I really dont know how and where I have to go to refill. And when I know there are 1000 other things being served on my life platter, beautifully garnished with the required potential needed to empty me 🙄😬🙈🙆‍♀️🤦‍♀️, this escape mechanism is very important for me.!

But my this escape mechanism is considered being anti-social, like seriously🤔🤔 . ‘Coz I always thought anti-social means being danger, being harmful to others, to the society. But I’m pretty sure, I’m very much harmless to society ( as most of the people very proudly said about me: what damage can a failure thats me make 😄😜🙈🙈)…

so how can I be anti-social?!🤔🤔

I tried to figure out reason but unfortunately or fortunately couldn’t find out 🙇‍♀️🙆‍♀️🤷‍♀️

So, I decided to stick to my definition of being anti-social, and I think as long as, I’ve clarity of this term, I believe its totally right to do whatever is needed to keep myself INSANE, in so called SANE world..!!

Afterall its my life and I’m responsible for its safety…. just like how two-wheelers, wear headgears( doesn’t matter its mandatory or not, but they do) ‘coz they got only one head and its their responsibility to protect it..!! Did I quote weirdo example🤔🤔..hmmm… may be yes!! but its ok (atleast for me😬😬🙈)

Am I talking a lot🤨😶🤔🤔Nahhh… noone is listening here🤫🤫🤭😜😄😃🙆‍♀️

thankyou , means a lot😊🙏

Its ok to escape and feel a need to recharge but surely this is not equally opposite to being interested in others. If you see it this way, that your own self interest (which I understand is not wrong) means being disinterested in others then I can understand if others would be hurt or confused if they have picked up on this. In fact, I think although you have a point that to create some privacy is important, at times it is the opposite, there is benefit in self care but not at the continual exclusive interest of ourselves. We gain alot by getting to know one another, developing empathy, sympathy and fellow feeling and connectivity. They are all neccessary skills to developing a more fulfilled mind set and sense of belonging and meaning. Granted, these tools do need to be used in measure otherwise we can become drained. And that value adds to our ability to cope and be happy. I am still working out what is the balanced approach though but my point is that there is deep value in being 'interested in people' when used correctly. It certainly shouldnt be neglected entirely. Otherwise, we neglect ourselves.

This is such a difficult subject. I've heard that you can't really love someone if you don't love yourself. I tend to associate 'loving myself' as being narcissistic. I still have a lot to learn to feel better about myself.

Good luck

I believe in finding the answer to my issues by doing my own thing. I don't listen to other people's definition of what's the " right" thing to do. If my road to peace works for me, that's the way I'm traveling.

I'm listening :)

There is nothing wrong with having and maintaining healthy boundaries for ourselves. One of the things I have realized about myself is that I am an ambivert, sometimes i'm an extrovert and other times an introvert and i'm fine with it and it doesn't matter what others think about me, it's what I think about myself that does. Life is not black and white like a lot of us default to.
