why do some people fit in, are accepted, and others are rejected?
question?: why do some people fit in... - Anxiety and Depre...
question?
No matter who you are, you can't please everyone.
But, you are new here.
Welcome.
& I'm sure that you'll fit in here.
I can totally relate to this. In recent times, I've noticed that a lot of people have just flat out become less tolerant of others, less civil, too easily offended, and just want others to be like them.
Here's how I feel about this: "Be a Unicorn in a Field of Horses!" Unicorns are special and magical! 🦄
This is a good question. One I don't have the answer to, but a good question. It makes me think back to H.S. I was definitely not popular there. It made it really hard, especially since there were only 30-something of us in a grade. Now that I think back on it, I think of how fake those people were. What with their globs of makeup, smoking, cutting class, and picking on others to look cool. I had people who were nice to me when no one was looking but changed their tone when there was an audience.
I know this doesn't answer your question. I just thought I'd share the memory it brought up.
Sometimes people think they are being rejected but in reality they are rejecting themselves because of low-self-esteem and self-worth. If they really felt ok and good about themselves it wouldn't matter if they were rejected or not.
