Help - anyone take bupropion???

hello all.

I switched meds about a year and a half ago due to side effects Currently on bupropion.

Anyone have experience with Bupropion? I started with 150 mg which was a disaster cause I couldn’t sleep was fretful and anxious.

I reduced to 75mg. Side effects subsided and was much more tolerable. However, after several months I have to admit my anxiety is not under control.

I’m thinking my first step is to talk to my doc and increase dosage (just not to 150mg).

Any thoughts???

I take bupropion and it has worked for me, but everyone's brain chemistry is different. I take it in the morning so it doesn't affect my sleep. I'm at the full dose - 450 mg. - but at first started at 150 and had to keep increasing until I found the 450 works for me. I hope you find the right meds for you soon.

i’ve been taking bupropion for Close to three years now. I started out at 150 mg I noticed I had more energy but still not that much so my doctor upped it to 300 mg and that’s what I have stayed on. in the first couple months I thought I was superwoman with so much energy during the day. Then that has subsided I don’t have that feeling anymore but I am still taking it I really can’t tell if it’s helping me now at all. I do not have sleep problems from it.I take it in the morning I’m sure that’s what you have been advised to do So there is no problems sleeping or me
