nyt has an article today with sleep suggestions from readers. nytimes.com/2021/08/30/well...

If you need a gift link pm me. It only works for one person.

I harp on resilience all the time. I’m actually very low energy today. Brene brown and cbt are great for this.

I’m of the mind if you create good habits when you are okay then you are more likely to use them when you feel bad. So for me it is yoga and walking. It is different for everyone. That takes some prep of course. Sometimes I take a mental health day and do some art. A movie in an actual theater is good.

I find journalling really helpful . Also I like to mediate and do yoga . Also exercise helps or any type of movement , going for a walk outside . Listening to music . I also find writing down to do lists helpful and also breaking task down into small steps .

Evey day a write down four things , something I an grateful for , something I am proud of , something I enjoyed and something I am looking forward too .

Personally I not really creative but alot of people find drawing or something similar helpful .

I am curious do would you like to share what you have tried ? 🐼

I like to write poetry is my main one. I habe a few others like coloring, exercise, music and things like that. I guess the main thing im struggling with now is finding ones i can use in the momebt when a majority of the coping skills are not readily available.

Have you found anything else beneficial as well? Its kind of crazy how drastic of a change being outdoors vs indoors can make

If you get the little worries in your ear about not being good enough, I can tell you to get angry, cuss and swear at the voice and tell it to go forth and multiply! As often as necessary.

It can be drastic, so it's best to do it where you won't be seen or heard, then let rip!

It worked for me. I had to remind it a few times, but it's fine now.

Cheers, Midori
