dilemma, I need an answer please

I am confused, about leaving to my hometown tomorrow, my boyfriend is here with me, and its Onam. But he is here because his mother is affected by Covid hence, he stayed back. And now, I am leaving tomorrow, but this is going to be his last onam in India, and he will leave for Canada in the next 4 months and he will have to be here alone, when he was supposed to be with his parents back in town, here alone. And I am in a dilemma.

but what my friends says is that, I am revolving my life around him, that maybe tomorrow he wouldn't do the same for me and why should I even feel guilty for going home and celebrating and coming back in 2 days.
