i’ve suffered from anxiety and depression for many years. But this is the first time I’ve ever experienced such stomach pain and such a little appetite. It’s gotten to the point where just the thought of eating some thing makes me sick to my stomach.
i’ve lost so much weight and I just wish I can start eating again.
Is this a side effect of anxiety and depression than anybody has experience before?

I have. I had to drink the high protein drink called Boost until the anxiety decreased. It lasted a year for me but that doesn't mean it will affect you as long. I hope you are feeling more peaceful soon!💗 Hugs!
Absolutely. You are describing exactly the symptoms I had when I was first diagnosed with anxiety and depression. I had no clue mental illness had physical symptoms, but indeed it does.
I felt sick to my stomach almost constantly, took antacids because my tummy had a burning feeling, had no appetite and the smell of food made it worse.
My gastroenterologist at the time figured it all out after he had me do an endoscopy and was cleared of anything wrong. He suggest I see a psychiatrist and I did. It was all anxiety and depression.
When did you start feeling the stomach and no appetite issues? Was there something you were stressing about before they came on?
It’s really hard to say. I’ve dealt with anxiety and depression for at least 13 years now and I’ve never had experience this type of pain or these type of symptoms. At the time I thought I was doing pretty well handling everything. So at the moment don’t think there was really anything stressing me out.
