reassurance doesn’t work for me anymore

going to doctors doesn’t help me anymore and it’s scary my body is like yeah just anxiety I don’t get how this can just be anxiety. It’s frustrating. I also read some of my previous posts over the last couple months and honestly I’m so mad at myself that I couldn’t of stopped myself months ago and been like you’re going to be okay. I feel so far gone that I won’t recover. And I still feel like the doctors are missing something or idk. I’m tired of this, this journey is so annoying and I’m so discouraged. Talking therapy use to help but it helps for a little but then when I was talking about things I felt myself getting anxious. I did try .25mg of the Xanax i felt okay on it but I felt more foggy. I’m tired of the random pains the panics. This is not me. A lot of the times it’s the sensations causing the anxiety.

I still have to go back to my neurosurgeon I had the spine mris which from what I read on the report they didn’t find what she was checking for but I still have to talk to her for sure. I seen in her notes that she thinks some of my symptoms are consistent with migraines but like I don’t really get headaches anymore so I gotta see if you can have migraine symptoms without the headache

Doctors should not just give reassurance. They need to do the appropriate tests so that they can tell you, based on the test results, that something is OK. This is how the chairi is being dealt with. Once you have been thoroughly examined and the reasonably appropriate tests done, then you will reach a point of having to accept that it is anxiety and deal with that.

It’s not like reassurance it’s like even when I get told nothings wrong with the tests my brain doesn’t believe it

You kind of have to believe the tests. There is nothing else. If you have gone to a good doctor, had the appropriate tests at a good hospital or office and still don't believe them you can get a second opinion. After that you have to deal with it as anxiety. If you want an overall second opinion you can go to the Mayo Clinic or the Cleveland Clinic. These are kind of pain in the necks, though.
