Using marijuana as an anxiety relief option

I know there is a stigma attached to marijuana that it could make a person paranoid.

That aside, I also know that it has many medical uses already and I am curious if anyone has been prescribed for depression or anxiety.

Prescribed or not, do you have a testimony where inhaling or ingesting thc/cbd has been helpful ?

The medical strains don't make you paranoid, they have been bred now for various sensations. Many are for cancer patients who suffer from chronic nausea and pain.

I don't smoke or do edibles, but if I had been prescribed edibles and was on my last leg with limited time left to live and was suffering... yeah. The other thing is, I don't believe marijuana itself is addictive, but if you have an addictive personality, or are predisposed to addiction, you could abuse the drug just like any other anxiety drug many overtake. So I would be very cautious and work closely with your doctor and a therapist about advising the use of this drug.

The problem is it is still schedule a and therefore studies are limited. So word of mouth or limited studies are an issue. I use a mix of like 1% thc to cbd and it is plenty strong enough. I do wake up more refreshed rather than groggy. It is very difficult to control the amount. I take edibles. Only 1/2 a gummy….not very often. Cbd, having limited regulation is pretty dubious when not sold in a dispensary. There is a lot of weak or bogus stuff and since you don’t feel high how would you know?My advice is to be cautious and take it slow. The cbd/thc combination seems like the most effective.

It's legal in the state I live in so there are lots of options available. I was using a tincture of CBD and herbs to help reduce anxiety and aid in sleeping and it helped. Unfortunately I found out that CBD is bad for glaucoma which I have so I quit. I never liked smoking weed because it made me paranoid so I havne't tried anything with THC in it.

It is legal here and I find it does good things for my relaxation. Stress melts away. I would consider it more of a crutch than a solution but the results do make a good case for it. I am of course referring to the thc rather than the cbd. The cbd oils and edibles help with muscle aches and joint pains in my findings.
